Castel provides Undergraduate, Postgraduate and Professional Training Services to Medical & Allied Health Professionals.
Since 2011, Castel has partnered with several national medical training bodies in Ireland to support International Medical Graduates coming to Ireland for Residency & Fellowship training. We support Medical professionals with every step of their journey to transition to Ireland smoothly. We work with both sponsored & self-funded candidates who are relocating to Ireland.
Castel is a fully accredited ACELS & EAQUALS English Language School with an expert team of native speaking teachers who have extensive experience in English language teaching. Castel was the first OET Exam preparation provider in Ireland. We have directly supported over 2,500 Medical & Allied Health undergraduates & postgraduates over the past 14 years and we pride ourselves in our 95% success rate and our extremely rapid results. Castel has delivered large scale projects to the HSE in Ireland & the NHS in the UK to support their manpower needs in the Medical & Allied Healthcare sector.

Castel students study on the campus at Munster Technological University in Kerry, Ireland, on a shared site with Kerry Technology Park.

- Provision of accredited English Language Training through a personal online tutor expert in IELTS, OET & EAP. The tuition focuses on exam preparation to enable candidates to register with their respective in-country regulator.
- Assistance with Visa & immigration including liaison with the relevant Irish Embassy to expediate transition to Ireland & avoid delays.
- Facilitation of registration with the relevant Irish Regulator e.g. Medical Council of Ireland.
- Advice on the most effective travel arrangements to Ireland.
- Collection from Irish airports & transfer to temporary/ long-term accommodation.
- Identification of suitable accommodation options, arranging viewings and lease reviews.
- Assistance with securing suitable education & childcare options.
- Support with everyday issues in setting up banking, mobile phone, electricity, & utility accounts, arranging car rental etc…
- Provision of emergency telephone support throughout the transfer & settling in period.

Castel provides a unique video-based language learning platform for the Occupational English Test (OET) and International English Language Test (IELTS) exam preparation. These online classes are accessible from anywhere in the world using PC, laptop, tablet or smartphone. Each OET/ IELTS programme is custom designed for each specific individual based on their current vs. desired English language levels and of course the time they have available to achieve this goal.
Castel provides exam preparation to all 12 Healthcare Professions seeking to meet their OET requirement to register with their prospective regulating body: Dentistry, Occupational Therapy, Podiatry, Medicine, Pharmacy, Speech Pathology, Dietetics, Optometry, Radiography, Nursing, Physiotherapy, and Veterinary Science.
The programme components are:
- Detailed needs and skills assessment.
- Assignment of specialist tutor based on your assessment.
- Personalised content designed around your programme.
- Programme schedule based on your availability to include: 1:1 Video lessons with your personal tutor; prescribed additional work; detailed written and verbal feedback on work submitted.
