Student support at OnCampus
At OnCampus, we are committed to providing full support to ensure your success, from the moment you apply until the day you graduate. Our student support services are here to help you with both your academic and personal life while you study with us. Here's what you can expect:
Your health and wellbeing are very important to us. Our specialist Student Wellbeing Teams understand the challenges of studying and living away from home. Whether you have concerns about your studies, making friends, or adjusting to a new environment, our team is here to help.
Personalised Support: Whether you're facing academic challenges, need help with financial planning, or want to discuss a disability, mental health concern, or any other personal issue, our team is here to listen and provide assistance.
Accessible Anytime: Our Wellbeing Team is available from the moment you apply, even before you arrive at your centre. You can contact us via email, phone, or by scheduling an in-person meeting through our online booking system.
No matter where you are in your journey with OnCampus, our Wellbeing Teams are here to support you.
We offer expert guidance to prepare you for progressing to university study. Our advisors assist you in choosing the right courses and ensuring you meet all the necessary requirements. Our goal is to make the progression process as straightforward as possible.
For most of our centres, completing your OnCampus programme successfully guarantees entry into your chosen degree, so you don't need to fill out a separate university application. In some cases, a UCAS application might be required. If so, our dedicated staff will guide and support you through the entire process.
Finding the right place to live is essential for your success and comfort. At OnCampus, we offer a range of high-quality accommodation options to suit your needs. Our friendly Pre-Arrivals Team is dedicated to helping you find the perfect fit, whether you prefer on-campus housing or a private rental. We guide you through every choice, making the process as smooth as possible.
Booking your accommodation is easy with our detailed guides and simple online system — visit our booking site to learn more. For students under 18, it's mandatory to book OnCampus-approved housing, ensuring a safe and supportive living environment.
If you are an international student planning to study full-time in the UK or EU, you will likely need to apply for a Student Visa (formerly Tier 4 student visa). Navigating visa requirements can be complex, but our Visa Support Team is here to help.
Expert Guidance: We offer step-by-step assistance with your visa application, ensuring you have all the necessary documents and up-to-date information.
Ongoing Support: Visa and immigration rules change often, so it's important to have the latest advice. Contact your nearest British, French, Irish, or Dutch diplomatic post for the most current information. For more help, contact our Immigration Compliance and Advice Team at [email protected].
At OnCampus, we focus on employability in every programme we offer. We prepare you with the skills that employers want, such as communication, leadership, and problem-solving.
We understand the importance of gaining practical experience while you study. Our employability services provide personalised career advice, job search support, and access to internships. We also offer guidance on working regulations for international students, helping you balance work and study.
Career Development: Participate in guest lectures, workshops, and networking events with university academics and industry professionals to improve your employability.
Work Opportunities: Many international students work part-time during their studies to gain experience and earn extra money. However, it's important to manage your time wisely and follow the visa work hour restrictions.
Our commitment to the safety and wellbeing of under-18 students recognises that under British and EU Law, anyone under the age of 18 is legally considered a child. As such, we have developed a specialised, comprehensive support package to provide a wellbeing service for minors. This enables us to put in place appropriate safeguarding and child protection measures and also legal restrictions for the benefit of your child.
