Our Medical Pathways

We offer three routes to medicine:

Students will typically study 3 4 subjects, as well as English Language.

The International Foundation Programme at OnCampus Ireland offers successful students a pathway to study medicine at Medical University Pleven and St George's University Grenada. Students will typically study 4 subjects, as well as English Language.

The International Medical Commencement Programme (IMCP) at Castel is a two semester medical foundation programme accredited by Royal College of Surgeons Ireland (RCSI) delivered at MTU in Ireland. After completion of the IMCP students can progress to Medicine and other Allied Heath Programmes. Students are guaranteed a place at:
RCSI to study Medicine, MTU to study Nursing, University of Galway to study Medicine, Nursing, or Podiatric Medicine.

The programme has two components:
English Language Training and Cultural Adaptation skills and RCSI/NUI accredited Certificate in Biomedical Sciences.

One of the most important requirements for university entry is English language level. As well as filling any academic gaps, English language is critical for success in all three pathways.
